Background
Sue is a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD, who has over 25 years’ experience in the profession.
Sue has worked in private, public and third sector businesses and enjoys the different challenges that each sector brings. Her most recent clients include a wholly owned subsidiary of an NHS Foundation Trust, a manufacturing business preparing for sale, a technology business (PE backed) preparing for second exit and media/tech businesses based in London.
Her private sector experience has been gained predominantly in SME’s both founder/owned and equity-backed which has enabled her to hone strong commercial skills with a deep understanding and desire to ensure that HR is seen as a value-add partner.
Sue has been consulting successfully for over 10 years and offers the complete range of HR advice and support services. This includes both strategic and operational support as well as holding Non-Executive Director positions.
Sue has experience in building and managing strong, commercially focused HR teams worldwide whose primary role has been to coach and support the leadership teams to deliver results through motivated and committed teams.
Her passion is to enable businesses to acquire, develop and retain the best talent in order to achieve success.
Her strengths lie in facilitating and supporting change, employee relations, M&A activities (due diligence and TUPE transfers) and compliance achieved through maximising the benefits of technology.
